Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

Help! Does anyone know how to change the sales tax rates for QB-2003 Basic version? I live in CA and the sales tax rate went up 1% as of April 1, 2009. But, being a non-accountant type, I can't figure out how to update the sales tax rate. Anyone else have this issue or know how to perform this seemingly simple change?

I am only familiar with how they work in the more recent versions, but this may help. Go to your Lists menu and see if there's a list called Sales Tax Codes. Open that, and look for the sales tax in question. Right-click the name and select Edit to change it. If not in there, look in the Item list. If not there, look in the Help file for your product.
