The difference in version years is the major one, and it's mostly in appearance and interface. Put simply, it's beginning to look a lot like QuickBooks Just like Windows vs Mac OS, the programs tend to shift to resemble one another over time.

Among the biggest non-cosmetic changes for 2008 are:

- A much greater degree of control over Form design
- Reporting improvements
