CANNOT WRITTE CHECKS

When I try to write a check I get a message " an Account Payable account is required to complete this transaction would you like to create one now?" If I press Yes or No nothing happens
Any ideas on what is causing this?

I believe this is one of those "This is just how PT works" things -- at least, if you have it set up on Accrual Basis (A/P and A/R do not apply if you're on Cash Basis). It should not force you to USE the account, it'll just make you set one up. You can always make one and then set it as Inactive, then PT should stop bugging you about it.

Thanks Eric. That was it. I didn't have any AP accounts, just creating one solved the problem.
