I/O Error in Peachtree Complete 7.0

I'm getting this error message: "I/O Error in file '$$$' - Test disk drive. If OK, run Integrity Check." Now I'm getting "I/O Error in file C:\(path)....CHART.DAT." I've tried to reindex the files, but it looks like I've lost the Chart of Accounts list. Also, there are no Journal or General Ledger entries. What should I do? I tried restoring to the latest backup, but it looks like the files were backed up corrupted. Is there a way to get my chart of accounts list from a previous backup? What a mess. :(

If you can find a good older backup, you should be able to get a chart of accounts from there and export it. Did you also make a backup before running the IC?
