Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

I have this version running at work just fine - no problems. I had the same running at home just fine also. I sent home a restore to keep the same data at home. Home Peachtree asked for the password as usual but it now doesn't work. I uninstalled the program and tried to re-install but now it won't accept the registration number that Peachtree gave me over the phone and by e-mail.
Now they want over $200 to make it work after I bought it for over $500.

As long as they are the same year/version of Peachtree and the same Release (go to Help > About Peachtree and make sure the "Release" line matches exactly), there's no reason why it should not work on both machines. Note that you must be a local Administrator, and, if you are using Vista, I would turn UAC off (or, better yet, use XP instead, especially on 2007 or earlier).

Moreover, if you first registered the software within the last 30 days, you are entitled to 30 days of free tech support directly from the people at Peachtree (peachtree.com)
