Peachtree stops working during employee/payroll module

I have Vista operating system and Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2008 and ever since I signed up for the Peachtree payroll tax update service, when I go into employees or payroll I get an error message saying "Peachtree for Windows has stopped working and will try to find a solution". Then it shuts down then entire Peachtree software.

If it started happening upon running the Tax update, then that update is probably the culprit. If you are able, run updates again to see if a more recent patch fixes the problem. If not, uninstall, reboot, and reinstall to a new folder. If that still does not help, contact Tax Service tech support at Peachtree.
