Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

Hello,

I've received the 2008 update and need to install it on a laptop computer. My old system will not support the new version.

The box says "update"...can I install this on the new computer? The reason that I'm asking is that I don't want to have to install the old version on the laptop and then upgrade the old version (that will be on the laptop) with the new "update" version.

I haven't seen the Update versions in awhile -- only PT sells them (directly) anymore. I believe it will either ask you for the old license codes or the install CD during installation. Either that, or it will force you to install the old one first.
