Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

Hi,

We rebuilt our Peachtree Company file to reflect a change from calendar to fiscal year. For whatever reason, our inventory numbers and values are not correct in the new file. I was able to go in and correct the numbers based on physical count of the inventory. However we have some value changes due to obsolesence or other factors and we need to correct the item values on some inventory items. The normal window for inventory adjustments does not take the change ( or in reality, you think you save the new information, but it does not take).
What can be done to correct the inventory values?

Assuming that you are doing so via Tasks > Inventory Adjustments, they *should* be updating right away (for Real-Time posting), or else when you Post if you do Batch Posting.

If not try Verify Data to see if there's something wrong with your file (make a Backup first). If that does not help, call Peachtree, as it's probably a program bug.
