Conversion issue

Having problems converting from older versions of Peachtree to a newer version, or from QuickBooks or other accounting software packages? Lost your Password? Has your data become corrupted and needs to be Repaired?

I have Peachtree Quantum for Accountants 2008 and I am converting some 2005 Quickbooks files using the conversion wizard. I get to the part when the conversion is taking place (line of green dots on the screen) and then the program terminates without any error message. It has done this 10 times in a row, with two different files that I am trying to convert. Anyone have ideas?

You might want to run Data Verify & Repair (backing up before and between the two activities) in QB, then try again. You may have corrupted data. If that doesn't work, you should be able to have the guys at PeachTree convert your data for free if you got PT within the last 30 days. Give them a call.

Note that, even when it works (which it usually does), such a conversion is going to take some time to complete.
