Date Stamp and TIME

Where does quickbooks get the date stamp and time for the headers on the reports and the audit log? I dont see ANYWAY or ANYPLACE that this can be changed....even changing the date and time in the date settings on the pc doesnt reflect what is reported in quick books...(good audit controls - as there should be)

just curious

I've never actually thought about that -- I do know that the QB file tracks "when the file was first used" and "Audit Trail in use since xxxx" in the CTRL-1 screen, maybe it uses that?
