Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

Need help--working with QB Enterprise 8.0--automatically closing entries were made by QB's and put it into Retained Earnings. When I want to see individual transactions from last year it won't let me see them. I tried to drill down in various areas but I still can't get last years numbers.
I have no closing date set--this is done automatically for this version of QB's. How can I see individual transactions???

I believe all versions of QB do this automatically. The best way to see data which was "rolled up" into RE is probably to Restore a year-end backup (to a new location/company) and look at the data in there. The Help file (or your accountant) should have details on how RE works.
