Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

I have recently set up a new company on QuickBooks '09, and have a few months entered. It took quite awhile to reconcile the bank account for the first and smallest month. Went to the next month to reconcile the smaller of two bank accounts. It took even longer to reconcile. Is there a gliche in QB 2009, in regards to reconciling, that anyone knows about? Or, am I not considering something that might be effecting the reconciling functions? I used QBs many years ago and never had this problem.
