Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

There's some weird discrepancies in our Quickbooks. The money totals seem to be entirely off for some customers. For instance, one customer possesses two invoices totaling $500. On our income by customer summary report from January, he is listed as $281,494.85. What could cause these kinds of errors?

Possibly data errors. Go to File > Utilities > Verify Data and Rebuild Data and check again. It could also (theoretically) be someone messing around in the file. Check Reports > Accountant & Taxes > Audit Trail and look for entries on that client.
