Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

I have been told that you can convert from owp to peachtree and then to qb premier. But, just what is converted? We have a customer base and inventory that was manually entered into quickbooks. Also, owp has a lot of erroneous info in it. Please give me some insight if possible. Thanks.

If you want to NOT bring over certain data, remove it from the OWP file before converting (make a backup first). These automated conversions are an "all or nothing" proposition.

Also, this conversion method will not MERGE files, it will make new ones. The end result will be a brand new QB file, not a combination of your current QB file and the OWP data (unless you export list data from one and import it into the other).

Also, note that you will need to convert FROM OWP 8.0, 8.01, or 8.02 into Peachtree 2007 or earlier in order to do this at all. The Peachtree Help file contains a page about this, and there is a "conversion manual" for OWP in PT 2007: Help > User Manuals > One Write Plus Conversion Guide.
