If you mean that it shows Overflow as a dollar amount...? I had not seen that before. To hazard a guess, it probably means that there are more digits in that number than what QB's database structure can handle. I would advise making a backup FIRST, then running a Verify and Rebuild to make sure that it's not caused by data corruption. I suggest calling Quickbooks/Intuit directly if that does not help.
In computers, an "Overflow error" is usually indicative of either a) what I suggested above (# of digits > maximum digits allowed), or b) a "divide by zero" error, which is computer-speak for "I don't know how to do that". Either way, it's not a good thing.
If the number really IS that huge, it might be time to move up to something more powerful than QuickBooks or Peachtree.
