Downgrading Peachtree 2009 to Peachtree 2008?

Because I'm trying to "upgrade" to QuickBooks Pro 2009 from Peachtree to allow my accountant to get my books a bit easier, I'm now stuck in a big problem. It seems QB can't convert Peachtree 2009 files to QB files without having the actual data files sent to them, and 10 days later, getting back a file. Since that is something I'm not comfortable doing, I was wondering if anyone knew if I can downgrade back to Peachtree 2008 (I still have the software from before I upgraded to 2009 a few months ago).

Thanks so much, in advance.

Once a given file has been upgraded to 2009, it is no longer usable in 2008. you can use the backup you made before changing to 2009 --, however, you will lose any data entered beyond that point.
