Allday Consulting's Peachtree and QuickBooks Support Boards

My computer is the hosting computer for my Quickbooks and there is one other computer that is mapped to mine. I need to put in my upgrade from 2005 to 2008 and I've had no problem up until now since the other computer mapped to mine has been put thru the server we have and ever since then hasn't worked properly when we have to do downloads. When I put in my upgrade can I remap the other computer without causing problems within Quickbooks 2008. Please help!!!!!

By "downloads", do you mean QB updates/patches? If not, please rephrase and clarify your question.

If so, here's a better way to get them:

Use the orange bar near the top of the screen to select your version. Then, scroll down to "Manually downloading an update" and grab/install that on each machine.
