Disappearing bank rec transactions

2007 and 2008 years are open and the bank reconciliations are fine. After running year end close all bank rec transaction have disappeared. The keyed bank balance is still there but there are no cleared or uncleared items displayed. I have run both Integrity Check and Rebuild Company both before and after year end close with no help.
This is very frustrating. All bank rec transaction were there before year end close but they just disappeared after.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
