Is it possible to repost a payroll check that was previously credited to the wrong individual?

Get the following message " Only payment checks in the current (or next) fiscal year and the current (or next) calendar year are allowed.

My first instinct is to say "ask your accountant how to handle that best".

You can cut a NEW check, but it would hit in the current period, not the prior one.

You can also contact us for a (paid) support call if you are unable to get it working as needed.

If the Payroll Year for the time in question has already been closed, then no, that particular check cannot be changed. In that case, I think the only thing you could do would be to do a Journal Entry to fix it -- your CPA would need to help with that. Note that this would only be possible if the Fiscal/Peachtree year has not yet been closed, as you would need to change to that Period first. If it has been closed, then it may not even be possible -- again, if it can be done (without messing up your books), you'd need CPA help to do it properly.
